Winterset Ski Club News, Information & Updates - September 2017

Membership: The 2017-18 Ski Season opened on September 1, 2017. Once again this year we will be renewing memberships online. A membership renewal email was sent out on September 4, 2017.
If you're looking for the login information: From the Homepage, click on the words "Member Login" in the upper right corner, just below the Winterset banner. Members will need their logon name and password to go into the system to renew. If you don't have your logon and password, please follow the prompts to reset it.
Once membership information is updated online members have the option of paying by credit card or mailing in a check.
When renewing your membership, please make sure all your contact information is correct. We use this information to send out emails and postcards throughout the year. Winterset does NOT update membership information for their members, members are asked to update their own information through the online site.

Picnic: Winterset will be hosting their Annual Picnic on Saturday, September 23, 2017 this year, from 12:30pm to 3:30pm at Dickinson Park, 30 Elm Drive in Newtown.
The club provides the hot dogs, hamburgers, soda, water, beer and wine. Members are asked to bring a salad, appetizer, side dish or dessert.
We ask that you RSVP for this event, so we know how many dogs and burgers to buy. Members can RSVP in one of 3 ways: Online: WSC Annual Picnic - 9/23/2017or by phone to Carole at 203-426-6010, or by email to Robyn at: rdohrenwend@gmail.com

For the past couple of years we combined the Picnic with a Tag Sale. This year we will be having the Tag Sale in December.

Golf Event: Are you a skier that likes to golf? Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 10:00am, Winterset members are getting together at Sunset Hills Golf Course in Brookfield to play a round of golf. Both Winterset members and their guest are invited to take part in this event. Cost: Winterset members = $35 each, Guest = $50 each. Prizes, lunch and refreshments are included. To reserve your spot in this event we ask that you sign up online and mail a check for the full amount to the event chair: Jay Dinan.

Bulk Buy Lift Ticket Voucher Program 2017-18:
It's that time of year again! Bulk Buy Lift Ticket purchases are available for Winterset members during the month of September 2017. Currently only the prices and credits for the Southern Tier of mountains is available. All information was emailed to current primary 2016-17 members. The mountain voucher prices are listed on the Winterset website. We ask that if possible you use the order form that was emailed to you, as this has all your current contact information and any CREDITS that you may have already listed on it. Please check your contact information and make sure it it correct! Members can update their information directly on the Winterset website. Brenda Murray is once again heading up the Bulk Buy Lift Ticket Voucher Program, she can be reached at murrayb59@gmail.com.
Members who are new, or have never participated in the Bulk Buy Lift Ticket Voucher Program can find all the information online at: Bulk Buy Lift Tickets Please be sure to read the Frequently asked questions along with all the Rules and Regulations.
Members can mail in their Bulk Buy orders, please be sure to follow all the instructions on the order form when mailing in orders. Members can also place their orders in person: Bulk Buy orders will be taken at the picnic, Saturday, 9/23/17. Members can also bring their orders and payment to the Meetinghouse at the Flagpole, 31 Main St, in Newtown on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
