Sterling Ski Club Lodges

Winterset Ski Club members are welcome to use the Sterling Ski Club Lodges at "Associate Members" prices.

Steps to follow for Winterset Ski Club members who would like to make reservations for using one of the Sterling Ski Club lodges:

If you have not stayed at the lodge before or if this is your first time for this season, please contact Sterling's Membership chairperson at:

This will get you setup in their system. Tell them that you are a Winterset Member and you would like to make a reservation for using the Sterling Lodge.  You will need to do this BEFORE you can actually make a reservation.
It's really important that you do this about a week in advance, this way there is time to get everything processed.  Also, please check the black out dates before doing this.

In addition: contact the reservationist's if there are any questions or you need any help with making a reservation.

Please contact the Lodge Coordinators listed below for more information:

Sterling Ski Club

Associate Club Membership:
Winterset Ski Club & Sterling Ski Club

Back a couple of years ago Winterset Ski Club entered into an Associate Club relationship with Sterling Ski Club of Stratford, CT.

This agreement allows and encourages members from both clubs to visit and take part in trips, events and benefits
of the other club.  Thus, by being a Winterset member you are invited to Sterling Ski Club's social events, their club meetings, and can sign up and use their two Vermont lodges.

In the winter of 2008 members of the Sterling Ski Club of Stratford went on a Ski Trip to Europe and while there they met some members of the Winterset Ski Club of Newtown who were skiing at the same resort.  By the end of the trip, they had become fast friends and a affiliation between the two clubs was born.  Members of either club can take advantage of the other clubs events and trips.  Winterset, having no lodge of its own runs a series of day bus trips on weekends to the mountains that are offering CT Ski Council Awareness Days discount tickets as well as overnight trips that Sterling members are entitled to go on.  By the same token Winterset Ski Club members may stay at either of Sterling's two Vermont lodges and enjoy all that they have to offer.
