Winterset would like you to join us for our week long trip to Sunday River, Maine

February 11th - 16th, 2024

$460 - Lodging Cost only
$759 / $697 pp, with a 5 day lift ticket (adult/snr)
Sunday River is an Ikon Pass Mountain!

Pricing is based on double occupancy
Minimum occupancy of a studio is 2 people
If a solo participant would like to buy out the studio, the cost is an additional $475

Slope side – Ski-in, Ski-out Studio Condos (ski down to lifts) - Shuttle Service is also available!

ADULT/SNR LIFT TICKET COST & PURCHASE:

5 Day Group Lift Ticket - $299 Adult  / $237 Senior
4 Day Group Lift Ticket - $256 Adult  / $202 Senior
Adult   - 19 - 64 years
Senior - 65 - 79 years

Lift tickets must be purchased online, using only the link we will provide. The pricing noted above is only available at this link and not on Sunday River's public website. You will need to set up your own Sunday River account in order to do this. Tickets do not need to be purchased until just before you go on the trip as they are non-refundable.
Your Lift Tickets must be purchased directly from Sunday River. This is a Sunday River requirement.  However, we will be happy to assist you in any way we can through the lift ticket purchase process.

SUPER SNR LIFT TICKET COST & PURCHASE:

No group discounts are given for lift tickets for folks 80+ as the ticket price is extremely discounted.

Lift tickets for 80+ folks must be purchased online from Sunday River's website. Do not use the group ticket link. We can help you to do this if needed.

Sunday River has 7 separate peaks, 884 skiable acres, 139 trails and glades with the longest vertical of 2340 feet (top of Jordan back to White Cap). 

We will be staying at the Grand Summit which is on the east side of the resort with the "White Heat" double black diamond trail being nearly at our doorstep.  If double blacks are not your thing, Sunday River has 7 peaks of trails and glades which will provide you with terrain as easy or challenging as you desire.  

The Grand Summit also has a restaurant "Camp", which is open for Breakfast, Lunch and dinner if you choose.

Winter of 23/24 brings the Barker 6, a brand new 6 seater heated chair with a bubble which will bring you speedily to the top of Barker Mountain, which is in the center of the resort.  Last season, Sunday River installed a similar 8 seater at Jordan which is on the very west side of the resort.

You must be a paid up member of Winterset for the upcoming 2023 - 2024 ski season to participate in this trip. Sign up will be online only.

Lift ticket passes are for specific dates. If you are choosing to purchase fewer than 5 days, the ticket will be valid for 4 consecutive days that you will need to determine. Should you decide to change those days, you must do so online through Sunday River's easy change system.

A Sunday River RFID Go Card is required to load the Lift Tickets onto. There is no charge for this card but if you have a pre-existing one, it can be reloaded.

Any Sugarloaf RFID card you might have from a prior trip cannot be used at Sunday River.

If you have an Ikon Pass, a New England Pass or any other pass that will allow you to ski Sunday River, you will not need to purchase the lift tickets or obtain the RFID Card noted for this trip.

A security & key deposit is required on arrival. Charges will be incurred for unit damage, excessive cleaning fees, & unreturned keys. Note: Pets are not allowed.

CANCELLATIONS: A full refund is available until November 1, 2023. A partial refund may be available until 1/1/2024 and will depend on whether the trip has sufficient people signed up to meet the number required by our contract with Sunday River. Trip Leader will work with you should you need to cancel. Any changes after 01/13/2024 will result in a $50 change fee per change request from the resort.
